Privacy Policy

AiManema (“we,” “us”) is a conversational project manager. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with to run the service, and the control you have over it. We keep it plain because the whole product is about your data working for you — not against you.

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We use these to create and identify your account. We never see your Google password.
• The content you create. Everything you tell AiManema — projects, tasks, blockers, goals, reflections, money entries, and the conversation itself. This is the heart of the service and it belongs to you.
• Technical data. Basic, privacy-friendly analytics (page views and aggregate usage) and a single session cookie that keeps you signed in. No third-party ad trackers, no cross-site profiling.

How we use your data

• To provide the service: store your workspace, sign you in, and keep everything in sync.
• To turn what you say into structure: your messages are sent to AI models that extract projects, tasks, and relationships, and generate reflections and summaries.
• To improve reliability and understand, in aggregate, how the product is used. We do not sell your data.

AI processing & who we share with

To run AiManema we rely on a small set of infrastructure providers (“sub-processors”). Your content is shared with them only as needed to deliver the service:

• DeepSeek — the primary AI model that structures your conversation. Your messages and workspace context are sent to it to generate the model and replies.
• Anthropic (Claude) — the AI model used for Pro accounts and as a reliability fallback. The same conversation context may be sent to it.
• Turso — the database that stores your workspace, isolated per account.
• Vercel — hosting and privacy-friendly analytics.
• Google — sign-in only.

Each provider processes data under its own terms. We send them only what's needed to run the feature you asked for, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Your content stays yours

You can edit or delete anything at any time. Completing a task moves it to your backlog; clearing your workspace removes it. Every change AiManema makes is traceable and reversible with undo — nothing it does to your data is invisible. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and comparable regimes, you can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we'll help.

Data retention & security

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or until you delete it. Data is isolated per account, transmitted over encrypted connections, and access is limited to running the service. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. Analytics are cookieless and aggregate. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children

AiManema isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
